Choice Hosting FAQ - Web Hosting Frequently Asked Questions What is uptime?Uptime is the percentage of time that a web site is working. Choice Hosting gaurentees 99.5% uptime. The very little downtime (if any) is for scheduled or unscheduled maintenance on the servers, to make sure everything keeps running smoothly. Of course we try to keep this to a minimum. We monitor our servers and customer websites contantly and are notified immediately in the rare occasion that the server does have a hiccup and work hard to make sure everything gets up and running very quickly. Scheduled downtime is also kept to a minimum and only occurs from time to time and usually done out of work hours.
